Both Rob and Kristen manage to get in and out of airports

I'm sure if they could avoid it altogether... they would.

going through an airport and tell me they do that on purpose.
No one would go through that if they had a choice.

Anyone who read the book knows very well the kind of scenes our players filmed at that exotic and historic country - with a shirtless R and a torrid kiss in full public square! Certainly if K and M were no longer together at that time, then at least a more romantic and cozy mood would inevitably arise between those who were there. Anyway ... R and K were bound to happen, even the same reasons, as they themselves said in interviews, they went through a lot together - success and fame came at the same time for both - and therefore they have become such close friends!
I fully agree with them, the madness and chaos that came along with the huge success of Twilight, literally threw our players from one side to the other - between interviews and film promotions - so it would be more than adequate to keep someone close, someone who cld perfectly understand the situation and helped to keep feet on the ground! R was in, he was perfect to be that friend for K, while M (who is this anyway?) wldn’t understand what they were going thru! Maybe even accept the situation, but wouldn’t understand it.

But anyway, even in Montepulciano, the two was seen moving around together - although they have avoided it as much as possible getting out of the hotel because of the fans and the paps circus (...). The focus was certainly not appropriate for K (she had her offensive moments with the paps), but R always smiled and was the most loving to ease the situation and preserve her image - but, even friends do it, right?!

May 29: the cast was ready to go back to LA (…) K and R arrived in the same car to catch the flight. When landing at LA, the paths were separated - our diva was the first to leave - and our gallant went with AG. According to photographers the car first stopped at her apartment in West Hollywood since it was late at night, yes, our R is very gentleman!
Well, here's something to think about ... When K is out of the country - where the paps circus is not that big - she doesn’t mind being seen in R’s company, unless they ask for pics of them together. However, when they’re back in LA - where the circus is bigger – she does all she can to avoid being seen with him! ... Especially because no one deserves the whole world bickering about your personal life, isn’t it?!

May 31: the "couple" once again met at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, where they received five major awards among the seven that were competing. During the delivery of Best Kiss they certainly staged the hottest time of the event and behind the scenes in an interview for the program, they talked about that special moment. Despite the somewhat common questions, it was their behavior that caught my attention...

When the host spoke of the non-kiss, R seemed to insist that it had been K’s idea - something in his attitude seemed to bother her, poke her- and he also mentioned that his ideas had been rejected (and what wld those be? And then, when the host gives her a chance to speak, her response was as straight as possible – K seemed to be shaken and even hashed, as if the message she had to say was very important (she seemed to have noticed the subjectivity implied on Rob’s response). Her words are run over! Message: "Yeah, it was like ... I won’t kiss you!" (…)
MA? Who is this? ... No life sign of the still supposed K’s boyfriend! (she never failed to go to any event without M). And, as speculations of a Robsten romance weren’t already hot enough, he decided this time to not follow his "girlfriend"! Indeed, this was a very important moment for her career, was the first recognition she won by playing Bella and, after much criticism when she was credited that role, it is important for her to know that her performance actually exceeded it all! And for R too ... Do you remember how many times he spoke of how they stalked him for being Edward? ... We don’t have confirmation whether this dinner actually took place, but remember that the rest of the cast was at the MTV after-party and only Elizabeth Reaser, in addition to R and K, was missing! She however, went to Teddy's Lounge, also sponsored as exclusive MTV party.
However, after checking out the hotel, they followed in the same car to a private parking nearby – (…) and met K’s mother, Jules S., in the company of one of K’s longtime friend! (...)
A half-hour conversation, where Robert talked more to Ms. S and guests rather than to her own daughter (especially when she realized the presence of photographers and hide behind the car. Remember what I told you how she reacts?!) That was the day she won the Mini Cooper that she would display the following days in LA streets. The photographer told us that R might have possibly given it to K, there were some unknown keys rolling in his finger, and everything had been arranged with K’s mother to surprise the girl, but the information we had until then, suggests that this was in fact given by Jules and R’s presence was a happy coincidence (if she was still with M, his presence would be more suitable, right?).

Regardless of the history you choose, the end result doesn’t change! The beautiful RP went to K’s new car and said goodbye for their roads had to be apart (read: for two months!) and she left the parking lot in the Mini Cooper.

The photographer even said that K gave R an older model cell phone! I confess I was a bit dubious about the story – why after all they would need a new phone if she has a Blackberry and he an iPhone! But then a new idea came to mind! Wld it be they were trying to find a way to communicate unnoticed, quietly? ... Looking at pictures later that day, I realized that R only used this phone when he was alone or accompanied by people considered their friends! (…)"
